As Muslims observe the fasting month, here are some tips that can keep you energized throughout this holy month.
1. REDUCE CAFFEINE
Caffeine is known to trigger headaches and cause dehydration, so try to limit the cups of coffee and tea you have during this month.
2. CARBS
Don’t break your fast with a lot of carbs – as this makes you feel full faster, instead opt for high fiber protein meals which will keep you full for longer.
3. NORMAL-SIZED
Eat normal-sized meals when you break fast as you normally would eat your dinner. Limiting portions are not advisable.
4. WATER
Drink the same quantity of water you usually drink but break it down to evening and early morning.
